How FundaWay handles personal information.

This policy explains what information FundaWay collects, why it is used, which service providers may process it and the choices available to learners and parents or guardians.
1. Responsible operators
FundaWay is jointly operated by Ratsoma Kabelo and Kupa Doctor Nkgoropo, Atok, 0749, Limpopo, South Africa. Privacy questions may be sent to k.ratsoma5000@gmail.com or kupadoctor6@gmail.com.
2. Information we may collect
- Account and profile information such as name, email address, phone number, city, province, grade and FUNDA Number.
- Authentication information used to sign in or recover an account.
- Learning activity such as quiz results, XP, saved goals, study plans and progress information.
- Documents or notes uploaded through authorised platform features.
- Payment and subscription status. FundaWay should not store full bank-card details; PayFast processes supported payment details.
- Technical information such as browser type, device information, IP-related security signals, cookies and local browser storage.
- Safety reports and communications submitted through community or support functions.
3. Why information is used
- To create and secure learner accounts and provide password recovery.
- To personalise grade, career, study and quiz experiences.
- To provide documents, notifications, live classes, Premium access and support.
- To process payments, renewals, cancellations and payment verification.
- To protect learners, investigate abuse and prevent fraud.
- To maintain, analyse and improve FundaWay.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense
Free FundaWay accounts may display Google advertisements after an approved Google AdSense account and valid ad units are connected. FundaWay intends to request non-personalized advertising on learner pages. Non-personalized ads are based mainly on contextual information rather than a visitor's past browsing behaviour.
Google may still use cookies, local storage, device information, approximate location, IP-related information and similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, aggregated reporting, security and invalid-traffic prevention. Visitors can choose between allowing non-personalized advertising cookies and using essential-only storage through the FundaWay cookie message.
Premium users should not receive FundaWay AdSense requests while their verified Premium membership is active.
5. Service providers

6. Children and school learners
FundaWay is designed for school learners. The platform seeks to minimise unnecessary collection, use non-personalized advertising on learner pages, hide private contact details in community features and provide reporting tools. A parent or guardian should assist younger learners with paid subscriptions, payment decisions and any request involving personal information.
7. Storage, security and retention
FundaWay uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for accounts, learning services, payment records, safety, disputes and legal obligations. Some older versions of the platform may store limited account information in the browser on the user's device.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, a user or guardian may ask to access, correct or delete personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw optional consent; download locally stored data; change cookie choices; or complain about the handling of information. Requests must provide enough information to locate and verify the relevant account.
