1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using FundaWay, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, use FundaWay with the involvement and permission of a parent, guardian or other competent person where required.
2. Educational purpose
FundaWay provides study support, career guidance, university/funding information, quizzes, planning tools and learner-community features. It is not a university, school, bursary provider, government department, employer or accredited professional body.
No outcome is guaranteed. Always verify requirements, dates, fees and decisions with the official provider.
3. Accounts
- Provide accurate information and keep login details secure.
- Do not use another person’s account without permission.
- Report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
- FundaWay may restrict accounts used for abuse, fraud, unsafe conduct or serious rule violations.
4. Acceptable use and learner safety
You may not use FundaWay to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, unlawfully discriminate, distribute malware or illegal material, attempt unauthorised access, manipulate payment/reward systems or expose another person’s private information without permission.
Meet Friends and community areas must follow the Community Guidelines.
5. User content
You keep ownership of content you create. By posting or uploading content to a sharing feature, you grant FundaWay the limited permission needed to store, display, transmit and moderate that content for operation of the service. You must have the right to share anything you upload.
6. Learning resources and intellectual property
The FundaWay interface, original learning material, branding and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party prospectuses, logos, documents and provider information remain the property of their owners. FundaWay aims to link to official external resources where appropriate rather than republish material without permission.
7. AI assistance
AI-generated answers can contain errors or incomplete information. Do not rely on AI as the sole source for high-impact academic, financial, legal, medical, safety or application decisions. Verify important information using official sources or a qualified person.
8. Advertising
Free accounts may see advertising after FundaWay receives the required advertising approval and completes applicable privacy/consent setup. Ads are not intended for private-message screens, login/registration screens, admin areas or other screens whose primary purpose is private communication or account management.
Advertising does not determine FundaWay’s educational answers, university guidance, bursary information or learner recommendations.
9. Premium, Live Academy and payments
Where paid features are enabled, the plan, price, duration and checkout terms shown before payment form part of the transaction. Access should unlock only after payment verification. Applicable consumer rights are not removed by these Terms.
10. External services and links
FundaWay links to universities, funders, colleges, learning platforms and other external services. FundaWay does not control those websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security or separate terms.
11. Availability and changes
Features may be improved, replaced, suspended or discontinued. These Terms may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change.
12. South African law and contact
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to mandatory consumer and privacy protections that apply.
